
“Yosemite 2004”
July 2rd through the 5th (Fri-Mon)
Enjoy four days and three nights in Yosemite National Park, the most spectacular park in the country with its granite domes and peaks, waterfalls, giant sequoias, abundant wildlife, and more, during this magnificent visit.
YOUR ACTIVITIES CAN INCLUDE:
• Hiking--beginner, intermediate, and advanced, in/outside of valley
• Biking excursions--rentals available.
• Photo shoots--make like Ansel Adams.
• River rafting--for a small fee or your own boat. Or just relax in the Curry Village pool!
• Golf--arranged for in advance.
• Tennis--courts are available at no charge.
• Horseback riding—stables near Curry village.
• Plenty of sightseeing tours, rock climbing lesson and other specialty.
• Dinner at the Ahwahnee Hotel (optional) on Saturday evening-$50-60 each. (Optional) Note: let Tom Shaw know if you want a reservation at signup.
• A group barbecue on Sunday night--bring your own food and something to share. Utensils, paper plates, napkins, and charcoal are provided.
• Welcome Happy Hour, light continental breakfast and bag lunches are all included in the low low price price! (Note: Price increases to $130 if paid for after 5/15)
ACCOMMODATIONS: Yosemite’s Curry Village tent cabins for two persons. Bedding and towels are provided. Washrooms and restaurants are readily available.
COST IS $120.00 PER PERSON. ($130 after 5/15) A deposit of $50.00 is required at time of sign-up. The balance is due by May 15, 2004.
