Let’s race Karts

at Santa Clara SpeedRing

Sunday, NOV 9, 2003

 

Take the challenge, get your team together. 

You know they can race on skis, how about go karts?

            Entry Deadline:    $ 200. /team Before October 24th for 2 - 4 team members

$ 210. / team After October 24

Or   $250. /team On Race Day

 

SpeedRing Karts:  Wide and low – close to the ground;  Safe – protected front and rear wheels;  Data Logging – on board electronics.   Format:  15 Minutes Grid Position Qualifying per team.  1-1/2 hr Endurance Competition (must change drivers minimum 3 times).  For each black flag received while on the track, your team will be asked to donate $10 to TASS!  Total number of team laps determines 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd places for medals to be awarded after each race.

SCHEDULE: Arrival at least one hour before briefing.  Briefing 1:30 p.m.  Race: 2 p.m. 

Limited food and drink choices at inside viewing area & private viewing area.  Locker rooms on site; lockers with key for all participants.  Recommend bringing change of underclothes/t-shirt to use under furnished race suit.  Race suit, gloves, (new) helmet, neck brace furnished with sign-in at SpeedRing
