The Bay Area Snow Sports Council (BAC) is pleased to announce that the BAC has negotiated a promotion with the Adventures in Travel Expo - San Francisco Bay Area to give all BAC Club Members 33% OFF ADMISSION the regular admission price of $15 to the show on Sa 10/9 or Su 10/10 with advance online purchase at www.adventureexpo.com with the coupon code SSF. 

Adventures in Travel Expo will be held at San Mateo County Expo Center, 2495 South Delaware St in San Mateo, CA on October 9-10, 2004.  The show will feature a full line-up of exciting activities like a gigantic “Try Scuba” dive pool for on-site scuba instruction, rock climbing and bouldering walls that tower over the show floor, the Global Beats Stage showcasing dancers from exotic locales like Fiji and Kenya, and inspiring seminars by National Geographic Adventure editors and photographers. One of the most recent additions to the show is Sugar Bowl’s “Snow Globe,” the world’s largest snow globe which stands over 20 feet high. Sugar Bowl invites attendees to don a Sumo “Sugar Bear” costume and challenge their friends to a snow-bound sumo-wrestling match all within this in-door winter wonderland.  In addition there will be “show only” discounts, drawings for free trips, free ski lift tickets to Kirkwood and Sugar Bowl for the first 1,500 attendees each day, and travelogues of thrilling adventure destinations.
 

Visit the BAC booth #248 in the Winter Sports Pavilion section to enter the Bay Area Snow Sports Council Lake Tahoe Weekend for Two sweepstakes contest with multiple prizes.  Each prize* will offer the choice of lift tickets for a weekend for two at any of the following 13 resorts (Alpine Meadows, Bear Valley, Boreal, Diamond Peak, Dodge Ridge, Heavenly Lake Tahoe, Homewood, Kirkwood, Mt. Rose, Northstar at Tahoe, Sierra at Tahoe, Squaw Valley, or Sugar Bowl) plus lodging for two at a club cabin.  The potential value of each prize is over $400.  The sweepstakes contest will end on November 30th and prize notification will follow approximately 4-6 weeks thereafter.  This contest entry is an inquiry which establishes a business relationship with Bay Area Snow Sports Council & its member snowsports clubs in which you may be contacted.  You must be 21 or older to enter the contest.  *Lodging based on availability as determined by each club.
